Byron, Jeff, thanks for the tips, i disconnected the battery and then reconnected, and it came back on, but its still acting kinda strange, on a short drive the other night the panel was working fine and then it just froze, all the read outs were working, i just couldnt change any of the settings, its got to be a bad connection somewhere

Craig, sometimes these ECU's just need to be reset... you can take the climate control panel off pretty easily to reset the ECU.

1) Start by removing the ashtray cover
2) Remove the two ashtray "cups"
3) Remove the ashtray (2 screws - philips)
4) Then unscrew your shifter ball
5) Unscrew the 2 screws holding in your shift gate
6) Remove the shift gate
7) Slide shift console toward the back of the car
8) Unplug door lock control wires underneath
9) The A/C panel should slide down and should come loose
10) If you open from the driver's side, you should be able to reach in and find the ECU
11) The ECU is held in by sliding pins... you have to slide them out and then pull to disconnect - DO NOT force them loose by prying... you will damage the connectors!
12) Disconnect... let it reset... then connect and restart your motor... it should do something

If that fails... you can try, try again... or investigate elsewhere.

Should take you about 15min to do all this.

Let me know if you need any help...it's pretty straightforward.

i seem to have developed a new climate control panel problem, im not getting any power to the panel, the lights in panel come on when you turn on the headlights but the little led's in the buttons arent working at all and the read outs for the a/c and heat show nothing, the entire panel is non functional, is there a fuse or relay for the panel, i looked in the owners manual but i dont see anything
