Just looked at my '82 308 GTS QV. It also has style #60. Would have sworn it had the other style.

where is the seperating point for early versus late? My 308 was built in oct or nov of 78 and had the "late" style #60. The only started making GTS's with the 78 model year, I believe.

Dudes,

Yes it is #60 for LATE models, #5 for EARLY models. Ken has a 1985 BTW. Here are some photos from the 1985 Euro 308GTS QV that is here:

Verell,
Look again...I think he wants #60....At least that is what the cross section resembles on my previous 308 and current 328.

Sulley,
Check out the various weatherstripping photos & pointers to supplier sites in this thread:
http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/256120/211199.html

From your description you do want:
#61705500 R/ROOF RUBBER (6500MM LENGTH)

Which is #5 in the FerrariPartsExchange.com photo in the above thread. Looks like Ferrari.uk wins on price again!

The door/targa trim is available from car/boat upholstry shops I think. I know my mechanic sourced it from somewhere like that, as he had a huge roll of it, and replaced a bunch of it on my previous 308 GTS, as it was all torn up. It matched the old stuff perfectly.

Don,

You are correct in that JC http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10101&productId=3237&catalogId=10101&langId=-1 has the trunk and under front bonnet weatherstripping (number 6), but NOT the part Ken is seeking. Checked that out first and was hoping they did to help our Ken, yet JC is a no go here :-(

Ken MIGHT be able to USE AS A SUBSTITUTE something from JC, yet it is not exactly like the one he needs and if you get the stuff wrong it could cause quite a bit of water leakage on the interior carpet and leather :-(

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven R. Rochlin

I've found several sources for rubber and window trim parts for the 308s. Remember, Ferrari does not make trim parts, they buy it just like every other manufacturer. JC Whitney catalog has rubber trim as does many RV dealer stores. Check JC Whitney, get the manufacturers name and contact them directly or over the internet. I replaced all the rubber and window trim on my 308 from RV stores and JC Whitney.

No I haven't checked online parts catalogs? Where are those? There is a piece of weatherstrip that runs across the GTS roof and down the rear of the interior of the doors and across the bottom. Mine needs replaced due to the top wear on the corners from putting the top off and on.

I need the rear piece for the doors/targa and can't seem to find anyone who has one. Any ideas?
