Saw one yestersay at F of LI. I think they are beautiful. The top takes 45 mins to put up(one person, if you know what you are doing according to the parts guy). A fair weather car. They should have done the auto top from the start. Spoke with someone who had one for 3 months, then sold it because he couldn't deal with the potential threat of rain. |

That convertable modification for the Barchetta is just awesome... The best of both worlds! |

From a earlier thread about the Barchetta top, there's a company in Milan that makes a very attractive retractable top. The name escapes me but here are some pics from the manufacturer's site:
I'll post the company's name when I find it. |

Its a beautiful automobile........I wonder if the roll hoops can be removed? Doesn't quite look right on this auto, like it does on the 360 spider. Otherwise gorgeous! |

If I had a Barchetta, the top would always be down. Soft top is nasty looking IMO. I wonder how much a Barchetta will fetch in a few years? Prices seem to be dropping already. |

A bit of additional info. The 3200GT is the predecessor of the Maserati Coupe. The engine was a twin turbo V8. The body style is pretty much the same except that the new Coupe is a little longer and available in the US. |

LOL... Not even a 456. That's what happens with quick glances. I don't feel stupid or anything... Wait... Is that a new Mas, or a 456??? |

Sorry for another post, but.... Look at the 456 hood behind the NART blue 550. that hood looks awesome! Also, on the yellow one with the leather strip, is that more leather below the bumper, right above the ground????? Any more hardtop photos? |

Assuming we didn't double up pictures at all, we only need a few more before we have a pic of every Barchetta! That leather strip on the yellow one is absolutely hideous. The Barchetta is absolutely beautiful. So nice looking. But IMO, the tops are the ugliest things I've ever seen. Can't see much of the hardtop, but the softop is ridiculous looking. Strait back, oh no. |

No No No! I know what a 550 Coupe looks like.. I wanted to see a pic of the Barchetta with the removable hardtop.. The 1st red car is not a coupe, and I wanted to see a side shot of that car... Ron |

All of them are absolutely hideous. If you want a convertible, and it has to be a Ferrari, buy a 360 Spider. |

Yes. I have seen that car in person, and it is, IMO, absolutely HIDEOUS. Owned by Ron Spangler on the East Coast of the US. More pictures of it on barchetta.cc. YUCK!!!

Ron, you've never seen one, 'cause they're hideous - at least in my opinion... Hard or soft tops on the Barchetta look horrible... Doc, awesome pictures, thanks for sharing... Where was this and what type of a event was it...? |

The best view of any Ferrari is the most popular view. The rear.. I love this collection of photos.. I would love to see a side shot of the hardtop. I've never seen one on..

Dr. Shelbee, do you happen to know the name of the Blue on the 3rd from top Barchetta? looks really nice to me. Could it be NART Blue? It doesn't look as dark as TdF Blue. TIA, Mike. |

I think it looks better without either soft top or hard top. I like the Barchetta shape better than 360 spider. Glad you guys enjoy the photos. My favorite is Argento/Bordeaux (5th from the top) |

Hello Mr. Shelbee, a lot of barchettas you got. The Hardtop ( at the red one ) is very ugly, I find. What do you think about the Hardtop?
