Bill, it seems I'm just a yellow and blue kind of guy! With the exception of the RS6, every car I own is either yellow or blue. This was not a plan on my part, more that I'm just a creature of habit! Next time you're in we'll have more toys to drive. Hope all is well.

Les, congratulations on finally locating your Dino! It's good to see that you've finally broken your yellow jones.

Les,
Sounds like a plan to me. I would love to check out your stable. Thanks for the link too. My email is [email protected]. Send me an email when you can.

Augustine, I have a perfectly preserved copy of the '94 Excellence mag as well! Yes the flachbau (flatnose) is mine. Mine is red with champagne interior piped in black. I have the cup suspension and a one bar boost spring and custom B&B headers to match the original four pipe exhaust. I'm going to bring the car back east in late october and then it goes to porsche to be restored back to original condition in March. It's to historically significant to keep it modded as I have it. Happy to let you scare yourself when it comes back east. Those big single turbos always put a smile on my face. sorry for the off topic post. By the way, you should check out www.flachbau.com which is a registry of most of the 39 US flatnoses.

Les,
Wow! Is the '94 Flatnose your car also? I've never seen one in person but I know the car well. I still remember the Pearlscent Turbo S Flatnose that graced the April '94 cover of Excellence Magazine. If you can't tell, I'm a huge 911 fan too. Had four and I loved them all. Have fun out there and look me up when you get back. :-)

Augustine, I won't be in Morristown tomorrow as I'm at my house in Scottsdale. Left the family back in Phila. on Wednesday and they've been without power since Thursday night! Boy, will I catch grief when I get back on Monday night! Until then I'm enjoying the sun here. No f-car here, but I'll make do with '94 Turbo S flatnose. I'll post pics (if I can get it right) when the car shows up in Phila.

Les,
That's awesome to hear! As much as I like black/black on many cars, I feel that the Dino lines would be lost with that combo. I'm glad to hear that yoiu went with the blue, and I'm glad to hear that my car inspired the decision. Will you be at Morristown tommorow? I'll be there with this wacky NJ/NY Crew!

Augustine, soon as the Dino gets to philly we should have a blue ferrari drive! By the way, your cars color combo inspired me to get this particular car as I was pretty far down the road on a black/black Dino!

Bye the way, I just bought a '74 chairs and flairs GTS in azzuro chiaro, tan with black inserts, #08508 (fifth from last). Should have the car in Phila, within a month after some work by Tim Sanford. Can't wait for the new baby!!

I didn't know the 246 was available in verde silverstone. I thought it was only available in verde pino. Anyone with better info?

"Verde Silverstone" according to what I read on F-Chat and elsewhere. '75 308 GT4 (Peter) indicated elsewhere it is the only 246gts in that color, while Willis Huang (Willis360) - who originally posted the pics, stated on F-Chat that is the original color. *breathes*

Dinos are beautiful cars. I just saw a green 246gts posted here and it is probably the best looking off color Ferrari I have ever seen.

Absolutely breathtaking! I am a huge fan of the Dino! I am also lucky enough to have a girlfriend that appreciates Ferraris and I think that she would sell her soul for a 246 GTS. Awesome!

I agree JRV, the Dino is the sexiest car ever made! There will be one in my stable sometime in my life. My heart races everytime I see one in person :-)

This little jewel came in this morning.
I have always thought the 246 Dinos were one of the best looking, sexiest of the street Ferraris ever produced!
