I don't know about the rest of their stable but I just dealt with these people last week. Not only was the 360 Real, but it was a great car in good shape (great if the front brake wasn't squealing all day). Dealing with the company was very easy and they lived up to the deal in every way. I would even dare to say that the rental price was a bargain compared to other quotes that I found. I will use them every time I go to Europe. | ||

Thank you for your explanation. But why are you not taking the 10 minutes required to correct the situation now, instead of waiting till the end of the summer? It is easy to photograph the inside of a garage without revealing the rest of the contents, or the address. And 10 minutes with photoshop will get rid of any details you don't want publicized. If your web developer is pushing you off, you need to get a new one. Don't worry, I won't call you stupid or lazy again. And in my last post, I already said you are not cheap. | ||

Thanks to some of you for bringing this to our attention: 1) Our 288GTO resides in Herr Klotz's garage in his private residence. It has not been driven in two years (i.e. since before we created our web site). It sleeps under a cover. Perhaps some of you could understand why he does not wish photos of his garage at his private residence to appear on a web site accessed by many thousands of peoples. 2) Yes some of the photos on our web site come from images taken at Salon Singen. This is because we do acquire some of our cars from this location. They were kind enough to provide some images to us. 3) Mr. Ross was told about our GTO during his trip to Germany last year. However, he mistakenly thought a car he saw in a nearby dorf was our car, when it really was not our car. A simple misunderstanding. 4) Our web developer will be updating all photos, including the GTO, at the end of this rental season. Please bear with us until such time as all photos are updated. 5) Please refer to some of your fellow Ferrarichatters who are customers, who can verify that we are neither "lazy" nor "stupid" nor or "cheap." Please try to understand it is very easy to form conclusions based upon conjecture. But more respectable to form conclusions based upon fact. Regards. | ||

I would think it's laziness/ignorance more than cheapness. They could ask any of their visitors to email them copies of pics. They don't even need to invest in the digital camera and they could still have pictures of their own cars on their own site. | ||

Most, if not all, of the pictures on their web site are leeched from Auto-Salon Singen's web site. You would think that a company with such a complete collection of significant Ferraris could spend three hundred euros on a digital camera. Furthermore, you would think that they could afford to host Auto Salon's images on their own web space, instead of leeching them. I'm not insinuating anything, and indeed I think that real pictures of their inventory would be quite impressive. | ||

All I know is there's nothing fake about the 360 Modena and F40 of their's that I drove last year -- and I'm certain there's nothing fake about their Challenge Stradale and 575M F1 I'll be driving in about 3 weeks time from now... When I am there, I'll ask to see their real GTO. If it exists, I'll take pics and post. | ||

The car on their website is not the real thing! Kind of upsetting that they try to pass it as the real 288GTO. If they do have the real one, which I hope, they should post it as such in the pictures as well. | ||

If Da Vinci's Mona Lisa was replaced by a good copy, also someone would spot it from 100 meters distance. Beautiful 308 though, it had "F308M" on the back when I saw the car on a Swiss Owners club website 2 years ago.  | ||

Actually I am the one who is wrong. The pic I posted isn't the Scuderia von Ruschenberg car. It is a car that was at a Ferrari shop that I saw in a nearby town in Germany, and I thought it was the Scuderia von Ruschenberg car out on loan. My German is not good, so I must have misunderstood when I was over there last year. Anyway, I just emailed this pic to the EuropeanFerrariRental guys in Germany and asked them, and they explained the miunderstanding. Sorry about that. | ||

With a rear hatch like the 308? And the rear quarter windows like a 308? And the wrong wheels? The short wheelbase? Believe me, I can dream GTO and this isn't one.
