The 1962 330 TR1 had a center section of the engine cover that was clear. |

F40 came out in 1987 . It has an clear engine cover yes but not in glass as the 360 but in plastic of some sort i think. I actually never touched this part of the car lol. |

Since they do not meet my selection criteria, I know virtually nothing about the F40 and F50 other than they exist. A few weeks ago I and the Mondial t were briefly at Steve Harris Imports in SLC. They mentioned that the F40 had the clear engine cover that I love on the 360 spider. I assume this is correct - is it? If so, was the F40 the first Ferrari that had a clear engine cover? When did the F40 come out? |
