For all those now confirmed for Sat 25 Oct, you should have received map and basic route planner for the trip.

Goodwood commences at around 9.00 and we should arrive about 10.15 at a reasonable pace...yes reasonable I said :-)

Joe, once you have fixed the route I'll check the map and find a suitable place to join the F-car convoy... I should hear you all coming from a mile away :o)

Hi guys,

All interested in Sat 25th to Goodwood, please mail me on [email protected].

I will arrange for the itinery to be returned along with my contact details.

If it raining I assume the only thing at Goodwood that day will be the "DUCKS".

Stephen - thats sounds ok, considering where your starting it prob makes sense for you. It would of been nice to meet together and travel down, however whatever suits you.

Joe :-)

Joe, I have sent you a pm with my contact details for Saturday. If the route is from the A3 I might join you all part way, perhaps around Midhurst.

I presume I won't be alone in dropping out if we have rain?

The route I normally use is M23/A264/A24, then A283 via Storrington and B2139 via Amberley onto the A29, then follow the A27 to Goodwood. It sounds complicated, I know!

As for places to meet off the M23 - there's lots of hotels with decent parking but most have ticketed access to stop Gatwick travellers leaving their cars. I can't think of many pubs except the King's Head (Beefeater) about a mile along the A264 towards East Grinstead off junction 10. I'm sure there are better places though.

Tony/Joe

I know the LONDON FOC chairman Richard Lukins. He has just opened a new shop called Rosso Corsa in Richmond (see rossocorsa.co.uk ). They dont seem to do ride-outs but do get together.

Simon in the 355 spider will be joining us on 25th and suggests that we head down the A29 route. I will be joining from Egham M25 J14 and heading south.

How are you, Im trying to find out what these clubs do and see which one is the best,, Im trying to mail the KENT & LONDON section and Organisers,, ill let you know.

If Peter is there , he normally take three Cars and he is a nice chap always taking people round track.

Tony, I live near Jct 6 and would normally take the M23 (Jct 7) to Goodwood but will fall in with whatever plans you suggest Joe. Look forward to meeting you all!

Lots of mentions about Tubi's and their wonderful sound! I have a Borla exhaust... be interesting to compare if another TR comes along.

I'd be keen to come along too (90 TR). Perhaps those coming from the M25 could meet up and travel down together... M25/M23/A264/A29 etc?

Joe,

I'm in for the run down to Goodwood, but I'm not sure I'll make it on the track - got a service / sports exhaust / brakes / tyre / bodywork fixing frenzy to pay for between now and then!

Would be up for a passenger seat if any one's got one going spare though...

BTW - I'll send you a private message regarding yours to me earlier.

Tony,

Yes we are not booked on but anybody who wants to try can, im on the lines of meeting early, driving down, watch and wander at the trackday cars, have some scoff, and later in the afternoon rally back to a mutually convenient point, maybe a quick pint and onwards home??? How does that sound??

James,

Mark Collins is booked on I think we may be able with his help squeeze a couple of sessions in :-)
lets hope so, but I reliterate we are not booked to go onto the circuit.

It is an easytrack track day and it is a 105db day. Should we try and convince them to allow a few more participants. I am up for a couple of track sessions.
