The more you drive your Ferrari the happier it is. They love to be driven. |

Oops, sorry about that -- I was referring to the area around the dash instruments -- the "shroud" over the gauges. The rest of the dash looks great; however, the "shroud" has a small tear in the top (from the previous owner) . I tried repairing it with auto trim adhesive, but wasn't very succesfull. |

Do you mean the leather on the center console or the area up by the dash instruments? (The dash is vinyl) |

Well, mine has been sitting idle in the garage for over 3 weeks now while having the engine compartment detailed, repainted, etc. -- can't wait to get her back on the road! Dr. Tommy Cosgrove...congratulations on your new 308 interior! When you get it all back together, would you post some pics for us? I for one would love to see the results. By the way, I need to have the leather redone around the instrument binnacle / pod -- is there anyone you would recommend? Thanks. |

I took my 308 to Atlanta to have the dash recovered. One thing led to another and I started recovering everything. That was June last year. I had to wait for the seats and other leather pieces to come from Italy. That took time because they were made for me, not off the shelf. Italy quits working in August-all of August, not just a few days. Then Sept 11 happened so that slowed up all my stuff being imported. After I recovered the entire interior, including new headliner. I thought I may as well re-carpet too. To get exactly what I had before meant waiting for the material to ship from London to Italy to be cut since the Italian distributer was totally out of my shade. I had to have it to finish the doors because the carpeting covers the bottom half of the door panels. Anyway I found out today the last pieces are here FINALLY. All I have to do now is wait for FOA to reassemble my car. So that makes 7 months of sitting in a garage but the wait is worth it. My 84 308 looks like it's 1984 again on the inside. The whole thing is totally new with all factory original material. I hardly want to sit in it now it looks so nice. It's been a long 7 months but thankfully I had my Alfa Spider to keep me company until her big sister comes back home. |

My baby sat for two months in the garage, until this past weekend. It fired right up after dropping the battery in, and wanted to run. Unfortunately, since I suspend the insurance for the winter, I only took a few laps around the block. My '82 only has 35k miles, 3k put on by me since 6/2000 when I bought it. Watching Magnum P.I. helps me to survive the winter. Happy Motoring!! |

I have left it for 2 weeks before and felt like I neglected it. I was on a trip so, I couldn't drive it at that time. |

A couple a days only. I refuse to let the car sit too long. If you do, tires get flatspotted and the car is not happy with you. Its the end of January here, and it was 82 degrees here yesterday. I put over 200 miles on the car yesterday. Ahhh yes. I love the South. sorry Nika! I HAD TOO! |

I went two weeks recently but I was in the middle of moving my business and the rain... Normally, it doesn't sit for more than 3 days. |

If you live in the north (like I do in eastern Washington State) you have to jump at any chance to drive your cars this time of year. Even in December or January there is usually a day or two to get out and cure the winter blahs. I keep my babies nice and toasty in a heated garage, with float chargers hooked up so I am ready to go anytime the roads clear up. Ferrari's HATE to sit unused! |

I'd say that I've driven the Ferrari twice in the last 4 months, yes twice in 4 months. Damn. |

Everyone, I'm disappointed in you. I'm writing up a warning to the F.P.S. right now. For those that go months without driving them. Do you still start them once a week to circulate the fluids and warm them up? Oh, I just decided that FerrariChat.com is starting a car warm up service. Ship your cars to Dallas and for, ummm, free I'll drive your car once a week. |

Paul, I know this has been mentioned no less than 10 times before but... great dressing. Three, maybe four weeks in the garage is the longest for me. |

It lightly snowed today but that didn't stop me from taking the 360 out for a spin. Handled the icy parts pretty well with the ASR cutting in only twice. |

2 Months in this awful weather. It usually starts OK after a few turns and then we go for a 30 minute drive. I try and take it out in Winter about every 2 weeks. No battery problems so far! |

Left my 360 for 4 days in the garage and tried to start it and the battery was dead. Replaced that Italian battery with an Interstate and was able to go 5 days without starting it before that was dead too. So now it's a good enough reason to drive it every day. Which I very happily do. Don't think I can go longer than a week without driving it. By the way, tomorrow I'm having a battery charger installed. |

I haven't driven my Boxer for 15 months... I haven't driven my 308 for 8 months... I haven't driven my Esprit for 12 months... I haven't driven my TR-6 for 36 months... Anyone want to buy a car??? LOL What's my problem!! They're in Portland, OR, and I'm in Boulder, CO --- gotta do something about that soon (maybe rendezvous in Boise?), or I'll go nuts... (Although, my newly acquired Ur-Quattro has been keeping me company quite nicely, hehe...) |

I haven't driven my Ferrari in 5 days... combination of bad weather and having a bad cold. I'm itching to take it out... but I'm guessing 5 days of Ferrari absence is nothing for some of you with greater self-control. What's the longest you've left your car in the garage for? |
