Thank you all very much for your posts. I have ordered a new cluth and new sensor/bracket. In Korea, there has only been one 360 that has had a clutch change so this forum was the only place I could turn to for help. There are no ferrari mechanics here and no one with any experience handling supercars. So again, that you very much, your advice is much appreciated.

yes jason, i am in seoul.

Hi Daniel,
You're almost certainly going to need a new clutch....

....I think these will answer most of your questions....The info that you were told about uneven disc wear is also correct...It is typical in MY 1999 & 2000 vehicles....When you have the clutch replaced, there's an upgrade that'll be performed...which changes the holding configuration from a 3 bolt to 6 bolt mechanism.

If you have any further questions, let me know and I'll try and answer them

Do you live in Seoul???.....I've visited Korea on many occasions, used to do business with kepco....very good memories and very good people to do business with
Regards
Jason

Daniel, This was a big topic a while back.

There's no one specific fix for the problem. Best thing to do first is a check ride with your Ferrari mechanic in the passenger seat so he could see exactly what the car's doing. It could be one of several systems they have to check out. The solution to my car was different from the other owners.

I hope this helps.

Oh yeah, welcome to FerrariChat!

Also, someone told me that the clutch disk in his car wore down unevenly and I am wondering if this is normal and if this is what is responsible for missing shifts only some of the time. Again, thank you very much for any information you can provide me with.

I have 360spider with f1 shifting and a quick question for someone with any experience with the f1 systems. My car is a 2000 with about 10,000km (~6250 miles) on it. At around 6000km, it started missing shifts every once in a while. On a shift, it would just go into neutral. Now, at 10,000km, it does it about once in every 15 or so shifts. My question is, is this a problem that will be fixed with replacing the clutch or might there be something else causing this? I am located in Korea where the first authorized dealer just opened up a couple weeks ago so i really have no where to turn for reliable after-service information. Thank you very much.
