Jeff, I passed the info on to the glass company. You may receive an e-mail if Rutlands does not come through. Thanks for all our help and advise. Kelly |

This is exactly what I went through with my 348 when I took a rock in the windshield. First windshield was JUST too big to fit the opening. Second one wasn't even close. Third one was broken. Fourth one was correct, but had a different mount for the rear view mirror. We were told that the windshields in the Ferrari warehouse are sitting in unmarked slots, that they pull one out that looks about right and send it off to you, hoping it is correct. Say what??? |

Nope, it's got all the right tags on in. I believe it is made in Finland. |

Are you getting the original glass or replacements. It sounds like they are either buying cheap Asian knock-offs, or being sold them without their knowledge. Art |

Well if remeber our little walk don the $4,000.00 windshield lane back in March. The first glass came in broke, three weeks later, which was taken up by the negotiaoins with the insurance company of the freight line, we find out that the glass will not fit. It will not go down on the passenger side. It's about 1/8 to 1/4 inch to high. The broken one will not fit either. I talked to Steve today at Ferrari of Houston and he said they have been getting plenty of glass that does not fit. you ahve to keep ordering it until it does. I've informed the glass shop and hopefully they can get in touch with Rutlands tomorrow and get me some galss that fits. Any advise please let me know. Kelly |
