I have the 512TR rims on my 90 TR. You need some sort of offset, and new bolts. Also the rears had to be drill a little more to allow the 512 bolts to clamp tight.

I got mine off Henry on the board. He sold me his rims.

You should have an email from me regarding the Ti.

Ron -- No I don't, other than to post a WANTED ad here and at FerrariList and hope someone has one to sell. (I can't recall whether it was something here or thru FList that I got mine, but it was a case of someone selling a small bunch ~50?~100? of NOS issues).

Steve, do you know of any way I could get a copy of that book? I tried a search at Amazon and got no matches.

Thanks,

Ron

Paul -- the latest values I have are:

TR (measured on SN 87406)
front offset = +34.2 mm
front lug bolt straight length (unthreaded + threaded) = 46 mm
front lug bolt projection past wheel mounting surface = 22 mm
rear offset = +59.6 mm
rear lug bolt straight length (unthreaed + threaded) = 46 mm
rear lug bolt projection past wheel mounting surface = 22 mm

512TR (scaled from drawings in GB Progetti No. 10 Jan/Feb 1992)
front offset = +46 mm
front lug bolt straight length (unthreaded + threaded) = 52 mm
front lug bolt projection past wheel mounting surface = 22 mm
rear offset = +81.2 mm
rear lug bolt straight length (unthreaed + threaded) = 52 mm
rear lug bolt projection past wheel mounting surface = 22 mm

but you might not want to exactly match rear tire centerlines -- see:

PS I was expecting to hear from you regarding the Ti?

512TR Wheels on a Testarossa?

Are there any TR owners here that have put 512TR wheels on their TR ?

I have been given two sources of info that slightly contradict each other - Hence my question to the board!

I would need the width of the spacers (front & rear) and also the lug bolt length.

As always any answers greatly appreciated :-)

Paul
