Saw a porsche Cayanne for the first time last night at about 2AM pulling out of a lot on campus. The owner decided to open it up (given the time, and the fact that wednesday is a big night for going out, im guessing he was drunk). It had pretty nice tone. The kid is an older student, his parents just dropped the car off for him. I guess he didnt like the RX300 he had for a few months. | ||

I was in North Jersey with the 328 this past weekend and I saw a few F-cars around. There was a Black Mondial 3.2 Cab heading West on Rt. 3 around Clifton and a yellow 360 Modena at a restaurant in Pompton Lakes. It was beautiful up there on Sunday! | ||

Hutch I am up for a get together of fellow enthusiasts. I will call you end of the week. FYI I will be at the NY car show on Sunday with the Lotus group display which will be on the lower inner roadway all day sunday. I am bringing an Elise 190 sport to display. It is a very cool car (track only) 1500 lbs and 190 hp makes for great handling and power. I am leaving my esprit at home as there will already be 3 or 4 other Esprit v8s on display. Mark | ||

Mark - That probably was you that I saw!! I am not certain that it was an S4S, but I know it was a Lotus. I was going southbound, and you were headed north. It was between exits 13 and 14. And what a nice ride you have!! Caught my attention from all the way across I-95!! Yeah Barney! I am not far from Cove beach, just up the post road in Darien!! Stop by next time you're in the neighborhood!!! Bring your 308, I've got a nice 'circuit' that I enjoy a spirited ride on frequently!!! And DJMONK, you've gotta join us for a ride!!
