Thanks. I'd like to caravan down but I think it's safer if I meet you guys there. If I start too early I may not last 'til the end of the day. Just finished cleaning the Mondial. First place for sure :-)

Yes, Bruce, enter your TR for judging. This concours is nothing at all like the the West Point Concours. I use the term loosely. I'm not sure what that was.

Tom,

As Leonardo said, contact Dave North to register. He will then prepare documents for your car which you can pick up at the gate. They'll take your check at that time. Dave North can be reached at (973) 831-9027. He will fax you directions to New Vernon.

Contact dave North at [email protected]. I think its $65 per person. The notice said to register by 9/17, but I can't imagine they would turn people away at the door.

I wanna go. Where is it in Morristown ? Directions from 287 ? Anybody coming from "up North" ? If not showing, just spectating, do I need to register in advance or can I pay at the gate ? Is it 65.00 per person or per car. I've got a Mondial so that's a valid question. :-)

Apparently the entry fee is not refundable. On top of the threat of bad weather, one of my radiator fan shrouds cracked. Been trying to locate one in the US all day. Best bet is still Ferrari UK! Don't know if I'll have the car repaired in time.

Augustine:

We plan to leave Cinnaminson around 8 AM. It should take us about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there. If you want to meet us, plan on getting to Cinnaminson around 7:45AM. We never wait for the people who arrive late, so get there on time if you will be joining us. Drop me a line at [email protected] if you want to meet us. My cell is 609 706 8524.

Barry: I am looking forward to finally meeting you. I have heard lots of nice things about you and your car. I will be judging, but I will make it a point to find you. I will not know for sure what class I will be judging, but Phil T. no longer lets me judge the 308 class. Something about a conflict of interest. Go figure.

Actually, $65 is quite fair for the buffet breakfast and luncheon Classic Coach provides. With over 130 Ferraris expected, the view alone will be worth the price of admission. There will be a very liberal number of judging classes and awards given out which also helps justify the fee.

All of these things considered, I'd say the fee is most reasonable.

Here's a picture from last year's concours:

Is $65 for showing the car or for spectators? If $65 for showing the car what is the price for spectators? I don't need to spend money so people can look at my car. That's ridiculous. Unless they include breakfast/lunch/alcohol/babes :-)

Hutch.
Im hoping to go to the USGP the following week.
Which will put a big dent in my point score at home. That an going to Skip Barber the following month might find me homeless.
So yeah maybe i'll go!!!

Sounds good...let's repeat last year's event...meet at my house for breakfast and a scotch...and drive over together.

This was the best Fcar show I ever attended...288 GTO, F40, 365 GTB, Superamerica...you name it...it was AWESOME...hope we get a great day like last year too.
