Exactly. It’s pointless buying a car like that and then not putting decent miles on it because you’re scared it will lose value but it seems to be a Ferrari thing.
I don't know .,my father bought in 1973 a 1961 Silver Cloud 11 with 8,000miles he sold it not long after to Graham Kennedy ,its now in Ballarat and still low miles ,some cars need to be kept low in miles/kms Like that E-type my ex partner had with 10,000miles at CTS If I didn't have my E-type I'd buy that low mile car and keep it like that Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep, lots of mustering choppers go down here out in the bush killing the occupants. Put me down the NO chopper flying list also! **** that!
I've been on hundreds in the RAAF, had my own helmet, the pilots were the only scary thing, you just had to pick one who was taking his meds
I've flown a lot over the years since a baby,be it commercial/civil, Prop, turboprop, or jet NO interest in getting in one of those things or in fact any like single-engine small aircraft I think the 1st photo is with my father's mother my grandmother HK `1963/4 bound for the UK and the second photo is my parents and the Cessna T172 I think at Ballarat airport around 1962 -as the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud 11 was bought new in 1961 and he only kept it a short time. Did I fly in the Cessna YES and would i fly in one now NO!
Soft cock. Helicopters are one thing, but single engine aircraft have changed a lot in the last 50 years. In fact single engine turboprops have a far better safety record than twin turboprops do. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was told (by an RFDS pilot, actually) that if we lose an engine (in a Queen Air), the other engine will have enough power to take us to the scene of the accident.
