I lost the link, but there is a couple threads with photos and diagrams here on Fchat. You can use any number of brands of hydraulic fluids...I am using Petosin (sp?) which I picked up at the Jaguar/Bentley dealer, and is what they use.

The top up procedure is not at all difficult and only takes about 15 to 20 minutes from start to finish..I would recommend that everyone with a 355 spider do the check every 12 to 18 months. I have checked mine twice, once at about 24 months and it was below the min. mark. Filled it slightly above the max mark and after 17 months was about mid way between max and min. I refilled to slight above the max mark again. (about 7mm above the max line)

Okay I looked for you....here it is:

Nice write up..though what the hell happens to the fluid?? Does it evaporate?? Does it leak into the body and carpet?

It seems to weep out through the body of the container. I noticed it being moist over the past couple of years....weird stuff
