I bought the T-shirt as well, still didn't help, you're way smarter than me on cars and F1 spotting going to the circus next week ?
In the local paper today. Zonda C12S Roadster is running in Targa Tasmania this car as the "sweep" car. Owned by the boys that run the Giacottolo (spelling?? can never remember how to pronounce it) at events around the country. Apparently can't be fixed quickly after its crash at Classic Adelaide so they are bringing the "spare car". Is this the yellow one that did the motor show circuit for a year or so?? I was only aware of the one Zonda in Oz??
You don't learn by talking, you learn by listening. In other words, stop posting so much because its not really relevant. You're 14 or so, which means you probably know nothing about driving or even the mechanics of a car. if you're genuinely saying you want to learn about cars, then just read what the drivers have to say about it. Telling us you hate or love certain cars you may have only seen or read about is not very endearing
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187289&page=5 Here is where I start to actually use my mind and think about things. I really need to stop posting in threads that PP starts, just gets people P.Oed and PP fired up.
don't let anyone make you feel like you have to justify yourself. some of the people who are calling you a kid are barely out of nappies themselves.
ouch! I've been feeling the pain. regardless, I don't need anyone make me feel like I have to justify myself to call him a "kid".
just make sure you're looking in the mirror when you say it. you don't hear me calling anyone old, do you?
hahahahahahaha.... Actually I was talking to a mate about it last night. during dinner we got called "Uncles" by some Chinese tourists who wanted us to take a family photo for them. Nice people, but taking us by a hit My mate now waits for people to give up their seats on the bus for him to sit
Just stop trying so hard. You're too busy trying to be everyone's friend to understand what's going on let alone learn about cars. Take it down a notch.
It's been in the country for 4yrs now!! The owner of that car is also the importer and he mentioned 12mths ago(On the Car Show) it's the only Zonda here... unless another one has arrived via 2nd hand imported channels...
most likely it'd be HongKong. A Chinese TV star who recent migrated here (owns a F430 spyder) was talking about getting a Zonda from HK.
I wish fchat had a limit on the number of posts that unsubscribed people could make. The $20 fee would get rid of the pointless, worthless and mostly annoying posts from schoolboys.
I spied today, me rubbing my butt on the Bugatti Veyron in the Sydney Bentley show room. Sat in the drivers seat for a long time, just thinking about how I could steal.......................................................kidding. Its a beautifully engineered car. Its just a beautiful car all over. Then walked past the Ferrari show room, and stuck my nose up. It just isn't the same thrill. Spotted 3 Aston Martins, boring and very common these days.
Its Gerry D's car. Restored by Dennis McCann in the US. He's known as a Ferrari parts supplier but is also the leading Stratos parts guy in the US. It is in stunning condition. Many difficult-to-get special (and expensive) parts on it. The previous owner spent a LOT of money. Has the late Group 4 bodywork and a full-house engine, 300+hp/900-ish Kg. Very fast. If you've never driven one, you would be amazed. Not enough Lancia afficionados in Australia. The market is in Europe, where any Stratos gets you star billing in a range of different historic rally events.
