    Yes I forgot to add that everyone walked away and the ambulance wasn't called.The only pain is going to be from the owners wallet.The skid marks start at least 60 mtrs up the road

    Driver thought he was Massa, racing in a built up area is plain dumb.Out bush *should* be ok though [track would be better], le$$on learnt no doubt.

    Looks fixable, not a right off for mine.

    Without making accusations about the driver because we do not know the full details I can only hope he wasn't being a Schumacher which is how most of these accidents happen!!!

    Yet again they will never learn.

    Get the car on the track boys for this type of driving!

    Probably not worth fixing as the pictures dont show all the damage.Car is worth around 60K and the damage would be around 40K. I reckon and the car is bent.I was told what had happened but dont want to say on the forum.I can only say that the parked car was not at fault.Made me think though as it really was a reality check as well

    Guaranteed write off. These things are hideously expensive to repair. A front bar for a 328 is about $8K just to start with and I doubt a 308 will be much cheaper.
    Your prediction of $40K is pretty spot on I think.

    Let's be honest, how would you feel.

    You've just written off your 308, probably written off a Magna and all these people are coming out of nowhere looking at you saying "What happened? What did you do?".

    You would simply feel like an absolute d!@khead and would look for the first hole to bury yourself into.

    Yeah I really did feel sorry for him.Although he was very lucky to have been able to walk away from it,he looked devastated.The owner of the Magna was pissed as well

    Geek tip of the day!!
    You don't have to resize pics before uploading them to fchat(well for the silver/rossa sub members). The server will resize them for you. I guess if your upload's are counted it might make a difference(like telstra) but I have uploaded 1-2mb(which means 3000x2000 resolution) files and have successfully had them resized server side every time.(works well for bikini thread)

    just flying down the day before and staying with a friend in Croydon and flying back the next day ... catching taxis, still got time in the slammer to serve ... also going to the GP with the family so can catch up down there if not in Sydney
