He only ever raced for Honda in F1. F1 people will know Weren't all the engines that failed Hondas? It was nice to see Alonso leading early on. He would of made the podium at the very least. The commentators were very informative unlike their (american) F1 counterparts and not BIASED like Croft and the like.

the interesting point in that article is that there was only ONE on-track overtake (Perez on Stroll) in the entire race. F1 needs to get rid of the oversized and over-complicated front wings, plus all the aero bits attached to the bodywork. If drivers can follow closely again and have to brake sooner, we'll get more action.
Yes, Honda has the edge on power over Ilmor, but not reliability. Mario Illien learnt his craft at Cosworth - impeccable engineering first principles.
Not too subtle dig at Mercedes and Hamilton...love it. https://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2017/05/pirelli-boss-hits-back-at-toto-wolffs-italian-mystery-line-after-monaco-f1-defeat/
This is a very important point, like a Shumi 2.0, and Lauda had this focus too. "Vettel is like Michael Schumacher, who transformed Ferrari for a decade from 1996 to 2006, through hard work in detailed areas, especially looking for areas that other teams were not taking care of. Schumacher went much further, stacking the odds in his favour wherever he could in the ‘intangible’ areas of racing with relationships with the tyre suppliers and the governing body and other stakeholders that could influence outcomes." With this focus, Kimi is screwed, he is not interested, would say it's his last year, time to step in the lions den Danny, take the offer.
I told you "Kimi was cheated" whingers.... Looking at the fastest lap times, Vettel did a 1:15.2, Kimi Raikkonen a 1:15.5 and Hamilton a 1:15.8. View from the Pit Lane: Monaco - News - Formula 1 - Channel 4
Poor old Lewis. We were all excited to see Raikkonen get pole, but we shouldn’t downplay the job Bottas did. If you take Hamilton's lap that he had to abort due to the yellow flag for Stoffel Vandoorne’s crash, Bottas was nearly three tenths up on him.
Or they could stop running on stupid boring outdated tracks like Monaco. Plenty of overtakes in the other races this season.
Its only one race of the season, no need to get our nappies in a twist and spit our dummies out. There is no other track that challenges the drivers as much, but yeah sure the race might not be great for overtaking but we should not engineer the tracks to suit the television show, this is supposed to be a sport. Pete
There is only one challenge at Monaco, well two actually, qualify well, and don't hit the barriers. Steve should love it, it's like his job, do the same boring thing brilliantly and everyone will go to sleep ........ or need to be tied down
The last thing I want at work is excitement. The more boring the better. So, when I go home and turn on the telly to watch Formula 1 a bit of excitement in the form of passing would be nice. In the case of Monaco I believe the problem is the track, not the cars.
You must be boring in the sack The track is the problem but I think they could fix it relatively easy, when they come out of the tunnel they need to remove the left-right-left kink , straight line it all the way to Rascasse and have a HUGE run off area (knock that ugly building down )
I knew two of the pilots involved. One was ex RFDS who then went on to work for CASA. Really sad all round. They were good people, highly experienced, and Rossair are a good company. I have my own ideas but not fair to speculate until we have more details. At this stage all we know is that it was a training flight (or a check to line, if you like) and something has gone horribly wrong. I may have more to say once more detail is released.
