Took these yesterday! You can notice that Dennis Gage from My Classic Car is behind it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love it! Where was the show? I just love how they put the Aston Martin and Lamborghini together, since the 350 was based on the Aston Martin (and Jag, as I recall). (Isn't Aston Martin by Touring and with Superleggera building method too?) But really, the DB lines really come through when those two cars are side by side, and both in black -- perfect Thanks, Fred
I wonder if that's the same 350 that was at Concorso 2 weeks ago -- sure does look like it! http://www.400gt.com/misc/concorso2008/
The other blue 350 GT at Villa 'dEste with Belgium plates is #107 ! So "reunited" after all these years. Ciao! Marcello
Hi all, These two pictures that Harry posted shows very nicely the difference between a 350 GT and a 400 GT 2+2 front fender. Thanks Harry! Ciao! Marcel Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The show was in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the Rocky Mountain Concours. That is a black DB6 next to the 350GT, so they used body-on-frame only on the DB6. But the DB5 had the Superleggera technique. Here is some more pictures I took from the event: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210291
Nice, what a great venue. Didn't know re db6 vs db5 -- so now we need to get those two (db5/350gt) next to each other in the same color :-D Cheers, Fred
Yep, And do we know wich car the nice blue Italian 400 GT 2+2 is? Could it be #01228? or #01240? or.... Ciao! Marcello
An enthusiast wants to buy a 350 GT. No projects, running cars only, but it does not have to be a restored show queen. Please submit details of any available car to [email protected] .
Anyone knows who is the Belgian owner of that splendid 350 GT featured at Villa d'Este ??? License plate is "OBT924"... Wondering to invite him at our yearly dinner in November ! Olivier - LCB

Notice it sold for over estimate, even when many cars didn't even sell. >>"We feel that the Alfa Romeo GTA and the Lamborghini 350 GT are real bargains"<< Fred
Lots of folks looking for 350s Joe, and with less than 100 out there -- I feel a squeeze coming on If anybody has a 350 for sale, definitely research its value independently before selling. I have guys that want one. Fred
A shame that inspite of the car's footnoot, wih clearly describes the difference between 400 GT and a 400 GT 2+2, the car was offered as a 400 GT. Obviously they don't read their own footnotes, or don't understand... Ciao! Marcello
Yes, very misleading...I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. I use the "slang" 400GT to describe my 2+2 at times, but I would certainly never do that if I were selling the car. If you just read the description you'd think it's an interim. Heck, maybe they really don't know the difference after all! Cheers, Fred
Paul's 350GT at Symbolic -- just stunning: http://www.symbolicmotors.com/services/restoration.php No wonder he won the Lambo class at Pebble this year! Fred
Very nice car and superb restoration, BUT compared with the challenge of converting the Miura ZN75 back to originality it's just a restoration. Therefore the immense job of recreating the Miura Roadster is IME the real winner.
VIN: 0808 Engine: 0728 Probably the very first RHD delivered by the factory. As far as I know there were no 350GT delivered in RHD configuration and the other 400GT 2+2 or Miura RHD were later production.
Raymond, they had to build a whole new front end (nose) for the car. It was a huge job. Very few 350/400s are frame-off restorations...this was one of them. It's like they built the whole car like they did originally in the touring shop. Cheers, Fred
Hi everyone, Here are the build sheets of my Islero. Hope it'll add a contribution to the quest of the Holy Grail! Best regards to all. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for sharing. These are the same records that the factory kept for all the cars built in the 60s and early 70s. In fact, as you can see, they are not detailed. Have you inspected Porsche or Ferrari build sets? They are detailed.
