New to me, absolute hoot to drive who doesn't love a classic Afla? Needs a bit of TLC on brakes/ steering and more poke in the engine, tuning in the engine. But canvassing opinion on the colour? What would you do if she was yours?

I like the color, period correct, but I suppose you can never go wrong with a GTAm in red :) I would sort all mechanicals (if anything is needed), and then enjoy it. Congrats on the car! Looks great.

yellow orchre, perfect cool stock 105 color on a gtam.... facetti spa 71 winner color. what ever you do...resist the urge to put clear coat on it dispite the painters recommendations. they dont look right without the stage 1 paint.

this is aimed at all Alfisti knowledgeable in all things Alfa Romeo.
What's the story behind the Alfa 2600? how many models were built?
I see a Convertible with hard top on the market now for $275k, and also a 2600 Sprint Coupe 2 door for $65k. why so much discrepancy?
    thanks for any feedback.

Thanks for all the responses and the colour has grown on me, which is a good job as I don't think I would have money left over after the open wallet surgery that will be upgrading engine and brakes. The final outcome will however be a very very quick ( in the right hands of course - probably not mine) track car.

My appologies to Irvinest. I meant to start a new thread on the 2600 Alfa, but accidentaly put it here instead.

I like the color as well, very period and very cool. As much as I love them in red - and I really love them in red - it's nice to see one in a different color for a change...

Dave that is stunning, I spoke with them before this thread about that colour, they have had so many asking about the colour but it is one they have blended themselves through trial and error. I hope they have some in reserve if the owner ever has the misfortune to have a ding.

The pictures show these cars look good in many colors. A bit like a pretty woman - she looks good in anything!

The Alfaholics car is akin to what Singer has done with the 911. I think the build is stunning in its details and its "civility" - covered roll hoop, carpeting and air conditioning - that I am sure makes it a hoot to drive on the track and an event to drive to amd fro too.

Good luck with your project. Lovely car.

When you say a GTAm recreation. Does it have the guillotine throttles?
What sort of motor does it have?
