Those that have seen my posts about the Cizeta V16T (namely the Southern California section) know that I'm a big fan of the car. Well, after spending quite a bit of time with Claudio Zampolli, the creator of the car, and being given access to go through his archives, I've mustered up enough information and photographs to document the history, including the rise and fall of Cizeta Automobili. In fact, it was far more than I ever planned upon coming across, and was amazed how much information and photographs had been preserved. Thus, I came up with the idea to produce a book for those that are interested in the complete history, including photos of everything from the test mule, to the logo variations, to every single car ever built. Rob Lay has given me permission to notify FChat members of my project, which is purely a personal project. It'll be very limited run of hardcover books that will also include a DVD featuring a variety of videos. This isn't a commercial "get rich" project, just one borne out of love for the Cizeta that I hope other fans are interested in seeing Anyway, if you're interested, and would like more information, please visit: www.16cylinder.com Thanks for taking the time to view.
Better be careful, last time someone who wasn't a sponsor tried to promote a car book, a moderator threatened to ban them and later closed the thread. I say rock on. I loved the Cizeta.
Just ordered one too, Brian...I am going to want Claudio to sign it of course..! Great work and so cool to see the car and the man out and about in SoCal. Cheers Kev
Claudio would be thrilled to sign them, never thinking people would want his signature. I'll put a couple of sneak peek pages up soon...
Brian, The article in this magazine is what introduced me to the Cizeta V16T. I'm glad I still have it after all these years. Image Unavailable, Please Login
FYI - to those that wish to pre-order a book, please, don't post here, go to www.16cylinder.com and fill out the information. When the book is ready, I will notify everyone.
one of the page spreads...the engine, historical, has the "original" investors name (that never came through) on it...an actors name you all know very well... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The rough draft is now complete, editing and changes/additions taking place now. Should be complete by July, and in print (hopefully) in time for Christmas. Throwing up a few more page spreads... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
