    Can't see F1 drivers adopting this. Most of yesterday's drivers were telling their engineers to shut-up :D

    That was actually an interesting discussion by all parties. But as to the topic discussed, I cannot see it working in F1.

    In a nutshell, having a spotter in the pits (NASCAR, INDYCAR) telling the driver of any hazards to the right or left of you and if your clear of those hazards.

    Most F1 drivers at times tell team radio, " Shut up, need 100% focus" during the race. At the start of an F1 race they are really focused...can't see it happening having a spotter in F1.

    Any spotters that could have delivered any helpful advice to the drivers that fast at the start of the race would need reactions faster than Usain Bolt. Ridiculous idea.
