Small displacement, high RPM gas engines have as much business being in a boat as they do in a truck or an airplane.

Waste of engines and a beautiful boat.

At least when you put an Allison or a Merlin in a boat it is well suited to the job and as an owner of an LM002 I feel very comfortable in saying the one thing that insured its failure as a military truck or industrial vehicle was the engine. Trucks, airplanes and boats need low end grunt and these motors don't have it. Dollar per pound of torque they are the worst motors going.
