For a moment, I thought you might have bought Dean's Dino!

Already owned it once!! Don't need to own it again. Especially not in SW FL where the A/C in the Dino would be a joke.

But, if you want to buy it FOR me, i wouldn't kick it out of the garage!!

Folks in PG are up in arms over this. Folks in PC are thinking, "Hey, maybe a job that isn't in fast food or home health care!!"

I would see WaWa billboards along I-95 in Virginia, on my annual drives up to Long Island, and think, "What a stupid *ss name...like a toddler asking for water." Never patronized the stores. Then they expanded into Florida. I'm sorry I waited. Their cheesesteaks are just incredible! I get 3 meals out of one sandwich. The sub rolls are the best!

Their premium gas is only 92 octane. The fuel at most 7-11s, some have Mobil, is 93 octane. Given a choice,
I'll go with 7-11 for fuel if most other things are equal, location and price.

Free air pumps at WaWa, too.

Wawa is a Northeastern version of 7-11 or Circle K, except they're clean, they make fresh sandwiches, have gas cheaper than either of those two and the people are friendly. they're like a CircleK on steroids.

Wawa is family owned (the Wood family) and PA based company with maybe 800 locations? They plan to add about 120 to Florida.

    :D

Wawa is Lenni Lenipe for "great goose" or something like that. They have a goose in the logo.

Called Wawa because that's the town their original company was founded in, Wawa, PA. In suburban Philly. They started as a home delivery dairy, and they still have the original location, and it still has dairy cows.

Ok, that's more than enough WAWA history. They were a customer of mine for quite a few years. We used to print their window display posters.

The only downside to them is that they have terrific traffic jams in their lots and at all hours. Allow extra time for the WaWa experience.

Have not experienced that down here, or back in Philly when I lived there.

they are always busy, but they have a pretty efficient system for getting folks their sandwich, and getting them out the door.

Slightly off topic, but what would you say is the most popular sandwich at WaWa? I have heard good things about their sandwiches, but I love Publix chicken tender subs too much to try something else without knowing more...

ALL OF THEM!! But, if you're a meatball sandwich fan, that's better than average. And if you're brave, their chicken salad is really good too.

Hmm...I did some more reading on it. I think when I'm in town for Thanksgiving I'll try their Gobbler sub some point that weekend. Good to know they're all good. :)
