I have a 2009 GTS with a 599 F1 transmission - 300 to the US - I had the factory paint the window trim in black and had them in stall cc door handles and mirrors - so I figure that makes it pretty rare
Now I'm in the process of installing carbo brakes made for an FF plus and new 599 carbon fiber brake booster - can imagine the stopping power - there will only be two in the world with this configuration - what fun! It was a challenge because I wanted the wheels that came with it that define what it is

When it was new in 2009 ran it in 2010 at PBIR for a full weekend and then Sebring for a full weekend - we had to replace rotors, pads, tires etc now ill just have to replace tires - probably should run hoosiers on it - what a kick

This is an interesting upgrade (I have a 2009 with F1). While I don't find braking performance to be lacking, I don't track the car. Nonetheless, the idea of going to ceramic brakes appeals to me on various counts.

Can you provide more information on the conversion you did? Was it difficulty to install? Other than rotors, calipers and pads, did you have to replace anything? Any electronic retuning required (there's no drive by wire on this car, but is there anything that might require tuning)? Cost? How is braking performance after install?

    Thank you.
