    I know this has been discussed tangentially on the forum in another thread, but has anyone determined the whereabouts of the ex-Peter Sellers 250 GTE S/N 3481GT? My father owned it in the early 70s and recently discovered some very interesting documentation on the car in his library. He has in his possession the original owners manual in leather binder, pages of type written correspondence with Maranello Concessionaires, and the original UK registration card with Mr Sellers signature along with those of all subsequent owners.

    Last known owner was Arno Flach from Switzerland.

    Yes but they inform me that the trail runs cold with Arno Flach in 1982. I did however get in touch with one of Arno's acquaintances who has promised to ask Arno if he has any knowledge of it's current location.

    I know that Richard Williams of RS Williams Co in Cobham worked as Mr. Seller's mechanic years ago. He might be worth contacting. They are Aston Martin specialists.

    Arno Flach never owned 3481 GT.
    This is an often-repeated wrong information. Flach did own 3841 GT. Slightly different number. I have known Arno Flach for 40 years and spoke with him today.

    I did get in touch with Arno and unfortunately, he did not own 3481 GT. He owned 3841 GT.

    In that case the last known owner I can find was a Mr Bodine from Michigan City, Indiana. I believe that is the man my father sold it to. I don't think he is related to the Ferrari owning Bodines from Minesota.

    Minnesota is Bodin without the E on the end so you may be correct.

    I thought folks here might be interested in an update on this thread. After searching on and off for three years, I managed to find the Peter Sellers GTE which my father sold over forty years ago. I last saw it when I was nine years old, now it is in my garage. I have to thank Mike Bodine for his 42 year stewardship and for agreeing to sell the car to me - I could not be happier.

    The car was same red when my father owned it back then. If I decide to do a refresh it will be back to the original white.
