    Anyone have any radar suggestions for the 458? Best place to get it installed etc.. im located in North NJ

    Which religion is the best? Which color is the best? You'll get the very same responses on this forum as you will most any car or motorcycle forum ( as is the case with Buddyg)... some are VERY partial to the Valentine while others to the top line Passports. No consensus at all, Both are excellent, both have numerous comparison tests online proving each is the "best" by far. "Pick your lane", do your own homework and in the end you'll have to chose for yourself. I'm sure if you do a search on this forum you'll likely find the same end result of strong opinions on both

    has anyone used a shop in Northern NJ to do any aftermarket work wit these kind of items.. That is the real question. One that has been extremely careful etc.. thanks

    If you're in Northern New Jersey, you should check out AI Design in Tuckahoe New York. They prepared our car for the Gumball 3000 in 2012 and I can't say enough about the quality of their work. They are also the guys who did alex roy's m5. Hope this helps

    New top of the line installed Escort MaxCI does not warn or jam the DragonEye laser being used more and more by LE. They originally claimed it did but eventually admitted it did not....and I have yet to see an update where they have corrected this.....

    Apologies, I should've clarified that their installation was on my Mercedes SL 55. I only bought my 458 recently. However, here are some photos of another 458 install that they did on their website…

    I'm not a big fan of radar detectors, however I do have a 9500ix built into the Speciale and it's been very very "helpful", that along with Waze and you're almost fool-proof.

    Otherwise, I have a Passport 360 that I randomly use in the other cars and same experience. I'm a sucker for integration though so I rarely use it.

    Should also mention that my new 458 spider will be sent to them for radar install as well. If anybody wants photos just let me know. Car should be with them in the next few weeks

    I am very happy with my K 40 that was built into the dash. It was professionally installed.
