To add, mine has a uprated clutch
yes there is a technique to the heavier clutch. the technique is to first work out and build up those calf muscles.... after that, the clutch becomes very easy
Just fell over this on youtube > [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDKi754EpHs&feature=related[/ame]
This SE is currently for sale at Interstate Mortorsport in New Jersey. Steve Waldie was able get the passenger glass and original decklid. He has had it for quite awhile now.
Diablo engines sound like that, but you are right, its very pronounced on this one. The completly stock exhaust, also makes the makes the mechanical sound more notacible at low revs.
On the way home YAHOOOO! All done, loaded up at George Evan's yesterday and coming home to Papa... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roy hate to correct you but it is 100% the same car. I saw it when he first got it and after he installed the replacement parts.
I stand corrected..I thought it was the Red SE I know in Cali..but went back and saw the post of the miles (kms) with the video..and your right it is the one at Steve's place currently for sale.
I dont se how its the tensioners, they are static load tensioners, and should not make any noises. I have the SE30 tensioners in my car, and the mechanic noise in my car is not that loud for sure. The Lambo V12 with its chain driven timing system, is just a noisy engine in every way.
I have been so busy with other things I havent give it much thought recently. Ill do a few miles in it when its back from its service and then make a definitive decision if its worthwhile doing
I believe it is # 27...which sadly was once the beautiful car of Joe Sackey and then mine. Too bad when they fall in the wrong hands...this photo was taken when the car was new. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is the car in that much disrepair I know Steve has had it for awhile and the price has fluctuated up and down. It is the color that just doesn't bite people as much as the purple?
