Ferrari is only a small volume manufacturer. Very few people could afford Pagani / Bugatti prices for fully bespoke parts.

When I restored my Khamsin I had a great time as it was made from the Bertone parts bin X1/9 Alfa Montreal and Citroen Parts. and Maserati used to use some of the OEM part numbers. bonus

DAVE456 recons the steering column switch gear from the 456 is a Fiat truck!! some irony in that...

Thats the benfit of the 456/55/575 parts interchange part of the thread.

As for the gear knob (very nice by the way) according to the 456 promo video Ferrari make them...

I had to replace the mounts in my benz the other day for the same reason, after only 150 thousand k's.

Where do I send my warranty claim? :)

Yep, there is a 348 and 355 parts interchange thread also.

Very very helpful. I picked up some crank angle sensors for my 348 from the local KIA dealer. A direct replacement for mine, in the KIA packet still. *Haven't fit them yet*

They cost me $120 for the pair, imagine what they would cost if I bought them from Ferrari? $1000, for the same part in a different clear packet in a Ferrari box.

    That's more like it!

So, both window regs have just been picked up by couriers please to ship to Florida. We use couriers please all the time at the shop, and they have just started an international service. The website is VERY user friendly compared to other competitors. And, almost half the price. As long as they get there, I'll be very impressed!

SHIIT! No I didn't Graeme. I had to go over to Marc's to remove the regs and I completely forgot to take pics when I got back to the shop to box them up. I'll make a note to take pics of them when they return.
