If it's possible in your state (MD is where you got the ticket), see if an attorney can plead it down to a non-moving violation -- usually doubles the price of the ticket. Maybe defensive driving school. You do not want the points because of the impact on your car insurance. |

Simple, I've gotten a million tickets, just go to court and pled it down to no points. Pay the higher fine and thats that. |

Traffic school (or similiar training to prevent the points from going on your record) and pay your fine, which might be hefty at 30 over. What were you driving? No V1? Sunny |

Probably the chair...
Having never been the recipient of a ticket I don't know but from reading threads on Fchat and other boards it sounds like there is communication between the states and you still get hit on points/insurance. |

I just got my first ticket...claimed 85 in a 55. The cop gave me the ticket and left...just said I was speeding wrote, gave it to me and left. I cant read what my fine is..its too light on the ticket. My question what happens to me(points insurance etc)? I got the ticket in MD and I have a PA license.
