Anybody who buys a 14 year old this kind of car is either an idiot, or doesn't want the kid around. Art
I don't think that he bought the car for the kid. Seems like it was out in the driveway & his friends were checking it out...Looks like the kid jumped in trying to show off....good thing he did not run one of his friends over.
As far as I can see the kid is the idiot not the dad. The dad bought it for himself, the kid asked for the keys, maybe the dad thought he just wanted to see the inside, I doubt he expected him to try to drive it.
It looks like the kid was smart enough to push the clutch in to start it, but didn't realize it was in gear and dropped the clutch thinking it would just idle. Also, not to nitpick but I do not see a cobra badge on the side of the car and the wheels look more like Saleen than the 5 spoke cobra wheels. Doesn't really matter much I guess.
I do see some differences in the car though, after closer inspection. There are some side vents on the rear pillars of that car that are not on a stock GT500. The hood seems a bit different too, but I can't say for sure (might just be the angle).
not a cobra, nor a GT500. That hood is made by Cervinis and is a 67 Elenor look a like body kit. Car is probably a GT with the sweet kit on it. The wheels are FR500 wheels in chrome. But boy dos that suck!

Here's the story and photos as posted by a dealership employee on another forum. Try to ignoring the over-embellishment of the details in the last paragraph or so. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g227/gafu_mazda/mustang2.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g227/gafu_mazda/mustang3.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g227/gafu_mazda/mustang1.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g227/gafu_mazda/mustang-1.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g227/gafu_mazda/pwned.jpg Damage doesn't look too bad. Still funny as hell though. >8^) ER
Verts have been out for more than a month now. Nice looking cars, but I like the lines of the coupes better.
And that is why my dad never buys a car with a stick, let alone let me get near one. plus he should have known how to use it.
