Is there anyway of keeping the vents open on a Murci once the car has been turned off ? as myself and my colleague have no idea how to do this with the car we have just taken into our showroom and would like to have it displayed with the vents up thanks in advance
Never tried it myself, but maybe this would work: raise the vents using the button on the center console, then shut the battery switch off (drivers side engine bay) while they are open.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130770 as cool as they look staying up, i am too big of a wuss to try it on my own murci.
Thats exactly right I do this all the time on my Murcie. 1) Raise the vents via the switch with the car idling 2) Have a friend stood next to the engine compartment with the lid up and make sure he knows where the battery isolator rotary switch is. 3) Switch the engine off and immediatley get your friend to turn the battery isolator off. 4) wait 2 mins then turn the battery isolator back on From now on the scoops will never go down
you can do the process yourself...mine are up now...I'll get them reset another time...I put them up for a show...just start the car, hop out, turn the isolator off, then turn it back on...turn the car off and your vents are up...of course you have to raise them first!! Reset is with the computer at a Lambo dealer...I heard there was a secret squirrel way which I haven't tried yet, but I will...let you know how it turns out !! Kevin
almost 100% correct. if you do the turn the key 3 or so times trick with the vents stuck open it will reset the code and the vents will go back down without having to take it to the shop for a reset
Why wouldn't lamborghini make this an easy option for us, is there anything negative to leaving the wings up at all times while driving??
