    Dear Joe,

Whose car is this, please? It appears to be missing the factory transfer on the bottom right of the windscreen that provides tyre pressure information along with other technical data. Or is this only applicable to Euro cars? Certainly the Pocher 1/8th scale model has this transfer fitted with all the details perfectly legible.

    With kind regards,

    512 Tea Are

I have only noticed this on European cars but I shall have to check on the USA cars now you mention it.

GREAT shots Joe, you don't happen to have that direct rear shot in high res do ya? I'd love it for a desktop.

As well it should Jas, as well it should. Would there be a load of micro-cars tucked in those bays?

    Dear Comrade Joe Sackey,

Are the wonderful images portrayed here of your car, please? If so, it would appear that the seats are very different form those to be found within the Euro cars. Can you tell me, please, whether all US F-40's are fitted with such seats as this would be yet another variation between US and Euro cars? Furthermore, the Euro cars do not have the seat belt hook that is appended to the windscreen pillar.

    With kind regards,

Although that is not my F40, yes, all USA F40s have those unique seats upon delivery. I have retained them in my car which is 100% stock. Indeed it is yet another variation from the Euro F40s.

That's my old F40. It should be VIN 92265. I purchased it in 93 for $360K. Ken Griffy Jr. was the prior owner. I do remember the front brake pads were glazed and the front tires were flat spotted when I received the car. Reggie was the next owner.

My wife disliked the F40. Too much of a "kit" car and she disliked the wide sills, harsh ride, blah, blah, blah.... Much easier to just get rid of it. She loved driving, and be driven in, the 288 GTO and 512TR (don't own this one anymore) I owned at the time.
