    Put on centre weighted metering and then the camera will think the moon is white and it won't be blown out like your pic

    You'll need a tripod too

    Yeah, it was big to say the least! You don't see those often around here. It was at a good spot on the porch and made sure to grasp the good photo opportunity.

    Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the spidys, but it was pretty cool. Here is one more picture from a different angle. It's really bigger then it looks in the picture! Also you can see the unique type of web that they make.

    I've seen a couple of similar looking tarantulas around here in the past, they are massive!!!

    i tried last wednesday night with tripod and 70/300mm (in mode P) and the resultat was not really expected.
    i want something clear and "net" as you can see it s not really nice.

    Actually where i took the pic is very common to see that kind of animals because since it is in a hill and they were bears and viper´s.
