    Hi guys,

I am using the OEM suspensions with shock abs from the 355 Challenge (put them on about a year ago) but somehow I still find it rather soft. Has anyone here put on any otther set up before? how does it work compare to the OEM and where can I get them please?

    Thanks for help

Not sure, but you might wanna check with Fchat sponsor Delta Vee. Probably the most knowledgeable source here for suspension info, particularly on the 355.

I am in the same process. Used to have a -99 355 GTS with fiorano handling pack, but wrecked it and my new car (same year and model) doesnt have the handling pack. I too find the 355 too soft. I just bought a set of H&R spring, will probably fit them later this year. I am also looking into having the original dampers rebuilt and/or upgraded. havnt figured it all out yet will try to do so this winter. if you fing something out or get any recommendations, please write back.

Good advice.......Send them your OEM parts and the H&R springs and after they rebuild them they can tune your shocks to work well with the new springs depending on the type of ride you want.

Not really next door then :)
I have a Bilstein specialist only 60 min drive from where I live, have contacted them about the rebuild. They can probably rebuild to stock but I am not sure thay can make the damper adjusted to the new H&R springs.

I can revalve your shocks to suit your driving tastes. Increased responsiveness in transients (corner entry and exit) with some degedation in straight line driving comfort; it's always a compromise.

I interview clients to discover their likes and dislikes of their suspension "tune" and tailor the system specifically to them. In some cases I've simply suggested lowering the car with the existing shocks and springs, re-alignment and then call me after driving with this modification to see if they'd like additional changes.

More than 20% of our business is international. The most important factor is using a reputable, reliable freight forwarder like FedEx and post a temporary importation bond with them for "repair and return" of your shock absorbers. I always ship FedEx international as moving the shipment quickly reduces chances for duty and taxes getting tagged to the shipment; it's worth the $200.00 cost to ship.

    Best,
    Rob

    Hi Rob
I did just that, lowered the car using H&R springs and it definitely helped a lot. I have changed the rake though and can’t seem to know where go from here. Can you help me out with the questions that I posted in this thread?

Even though the car feels a lot better I still think that the dampers would benefit from being looked at. The Swedish company that was going to help me has lost their Bilstein guru and I am therefore looking into shipping the to the US instead. Since the dollar is low right now it might even be cheaper that way :)
