I am considering getting an aftermarket exhaust/muffler for my 1995 355 GTS. Tubi seems to be the most popular but I read in www.the355.com that it suffers from booming at 3000-4000 rpm. Has anyone experienced this? I was also interested in the Quicksilver Sports System.

I would appreciate some feedback on these two systems as well as others that are available.

    Thanks,

    Enzo

I had a tubi and hyperflows on my 355, it was pretty sweet. No booming to my ears. If I were doing it again, I'd go Capristo, it is more high pitched.

I have a Tubi and I don't notice any booming in the midrange. I think it makes a great gut-deep roar it idle and a sharp edged sound the rest of the time.

I am in the process of finalizing the sale of my 1995 F355 Spider - I negotiated to keep my MS Racing exhaust just in case I get another 355 in the future. But now I'm thinking about a 360 instead - If interested send me a PM. You check check on their website for video clips.

    Thanks

You can't go wrong with the sound or build-quality of the Capristo.

YOU SHOULD REALLY TRY X-OST HAND MADE AT MARANELLO. CAPRISTO IS NOT USED MUCH IN ITALY, X-OST HAS THE RIGHT PRICE AND THE BEST IN QUALITY.

NO MATCH ,NOT EVEN CLOSE WITH OTHER BRANDS!

My 1999 355 had a Tubi exhaust when I purchased it, and I was indeed bothered by resonance and harmonic vibration in the car. So, I swapped it out for a Capristo Level 1, added HyperFlow cats, and now the sound is much more pleasant to the ear.
