this very car sold at auction in 2001 for 720,000 USD. can't believe that 5 mil is the number... 3.5-4 would have been my guess.

5 mil is NOT the number. The reserve is higher than that!

I have a hunch it's not selling on eBay at any price. It's just there to get the word out.

Price aside-the ad clearly says that the car has been restored to the highest standards-Paintwork looks fantastic but...the rest of the car looks rather long in the tooth.

Are you sure? According to Barchetta.cc (and I know they are wrong sometimes and not always updated) the car is owned by Stan Zagorsky of NY since 2000. And it makes sense since this dealership is in Long Island, NY

Thanks, Jim. Afraid I'm late to the party.

My searches turned up nothing, but I'm glad to know Fchatters are on it!

I do wish I had a few extra (5, in particular) big ones lying around!

Tough to let something like that go.

So, I can't understand why, if there's already 2 other threads on this, search term "0650" didn't provide the thread results?

    Strange.

If you look through those two threads, you'll see that no one had mentioned the chassis number.
