I wonder that the ex japanese owner made his decision to sell his SVJ..
But i am not surprised by the price given by Autosalon Singen.

Is there another 70's road car in that price class? What would be a comparable? I mean, you could buy 2 Daytona spiders for that, and have enough money left over for an SV. Seems a tad expensive.

FIRST $535K USA funds takes it home..........

PRESTINE 1969 Miura S finished in Fly Yellow over two tone black and grey interior...this one looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Only 15,567 ORIGINAL KM (9,652 miles)!!! This car was completely restored with no expenses spared and then placed in a museum for the last several years !! Fresh out of service over 75k invested in recent major service, new Carbs, exhaust, all fluids, valves, brakes and running stronger than ever, this Miura has never even seen rain! Original color white over black. Chassis # 3787, Engine #2592, Production # 285. Fitted with Miura SV Dual Sump Pump! Equipped with RARE Factory seat belts. Jack, books and all keys. Extensive documentation from delivery to present. all EPA/DOT papers, service documents and receipts. Quite possibly one of the nicest Lamborghini Miura P400S examples around!

FYI, this car was born White over Black, re-painted in the correct period colors...

    Very nice.

You mean split sump, or as some say, dual sump.

Ha ha, I have that kit... My dad has the following still in box untouched - http://www.escalemodels.com/Reviews/has-hc14.htm

Needless to say the Miura car captivated me in my youth. I did a brief stint ogling the Countach but have long since got past the hormones of adolescence. Actually I do still have a nice poster of an early Countach (pre stuck on plastic) with some lower profile tires and a BBS mesh rim of sorts.

    Anyhow, BACK TO THE MIURA...

Hey Joe, are there any fresh or out of studio pics of ex-shah's #4870. I feel like crying of joy every time I see pics of that car. What would be its value today, having in mind its history and extensive restoration proces. Anything close to this #4990 Jota or less?

    TIA,

    Mirza

    Not a rumor Emilio.

Remember too, the parties concerned (seller/buyer) are not really interested in proving anything one way or another, and I doubt they care.

Look at the ask price of 4990 at $4.1 million US. It got to that point based on something... dont you think?
