This is just plain sad/wrong This should be the 11th Commandment, Thy Shall Not Abandon Classic Cars http://www.supercarforums.co.uk/chatforum/viewtopic.php?t=30&postdays=0&pos
The number of 300SL's that are shown as being left behind is amazing, along with so many other rare and now highly valued cars. But the truth remains. Those shown in pictures may only be brief examples of the total remaining in this condition.
and there's still 39 pages of them! very sad. at the same time, with very few exceptions the cost of restoring any of these cars greatly exceeds their market value.
As a general rule unless you work in porn or a gentleman's club, gyrating labia usually counts as not safe for work
I had to stop after 3 pages. Too depressing. The Wife was looking over my shoulder and cracking up about the avatar.
That Miura will be restored. They're just too rare and too much in demand to sit unclaimed like that. Ditto the Gullwing.
I am pathetic I had to go back and see the aviator because I missed it the first time. (yea cars are that important)
Is it a mechanical glitch/big repair and it's out in the elements and forgotten? Strange how some of those cars wind up so neglected.
Somebody, bring this to Jay Leno's attention, he likes to rescue and restore this kind of classic cars I would love to revive that Gull Wing. This is heart breaking
About the ONLY accurate information on that site are the photographs - the rest is speculative, including the stupid notion that all of the Hussein cars were vandalized/destroyed by US Troops (posted by a Briton? What a surprise....).
