I remember it from the days when it was red/white...

Christian is this the first RHD LP400 to the UK?

Following Lamborghiniregistry, this is the first RHD car built. My understanding is that this is correct.

This is a 1988 1/2 car used as a Muleta for the re-styled Annivesario radiator scoops and bumpers, and P-Zero tires. You can still see the 88 1/2 wheels, side skirts (with an add-on piece) and front wheel arches...

in 1989-90 anniversary countach was THE countach to have and most thought the look was much improved

some 20 years later most would say that it did not age so well as the other cars....
i know for some the anni is still the ultimate countach (to each his own ;) )

p.s. once i heard a QV owner say " i hate them,...without these 650+- anniversarios around the countach would be a much more rare (and expensive ) machine"

Could have been me, but I share this opinion, I love all Countachs except the 25th, it's just overdone.
But anyway that's history and each to his own.

They might as well have added a trailer hitch while they were at it. ;)

Didnt all U.S. spec Anniversaries wear the front bumpers at the time? I never understood why they made the euro spec ones with the U.S. style rear bumpers, horrid.

I don't remember who said it, that a 89 looks like a Countach dressed up as a Testarossa on Halloween :).
