I was thinking about the bacon explosion while on vacation last week. My mother-in-law would fry up sausage patties or a pound of bacon each morning. The bacon explosion was a loaf of spiced Jimmy Dean wrapped in a bacon weave. But rather than a loaf, how about making a kabob of pre-made patties with the spices "floured" on each patty's side, maybe with some slices of peppery Canadian Bacon in between each patty, then wrapping in the weave. Forget the Bacon Explosion, this is the Bacon Supernova!

It also occured to me while having a bacon-wrapped filet that you could do the same thing with a whole beef tenderloin, just wrap it in the bacon weave.

Thursday evening a friend and I were driving to our annual golf trip. we stopped at Tony's restuarant in Birch Run, Michigan and had BLT's. We picked off the excess bacon packed it up and ate the sandwhiches. Later we ate bacon at the poker table that night, then 8 guys ate bacon and eggs for breakfast and we still had leftover bacon after that.
