Me and my brother spotted 60 exotics on friday and saturday. We sat on the intersection of Lenox rd and Peachtree st. I didnt get any pictures of them. I did not have the camera on hand. Exotics are everywhere in Buckhead. But too bad we had to leave...

Nice spots on the 6.0 and the LP640, West. Where did you find the 6.0, I've been hoping to see it again because it was an incredible car to see and hear on the street.

My spots from the last few days:

    Saturday August 1:
    - dark blue Aston-Martin DB7 Volante parked on West Paces near Peachtree.
    - white Aston-Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on California plates at the W Hotel in Midtown.
    - silver Ferrari 360 Spider on temporary plates on West Paces.
    - black Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster with the super-flimsy soft top in place at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - dark green Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph on Florida 'Protect the Panther' plates on West Paces.

    Sunday August 2:
    - dark blue Aston-Martin DB9 Volante on Tennessee plates at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
    - dark blue Bentley Arnage on California 'manufacturer' plates on Lenox Road at Peachtree.
    - white Bentley Arnage at Whole Foods on West Paces.
    - gray Lamborghini Gallardo in my apartment complex's parking lot, astonishing all the tennants, near Briarcliff and North Decatur.

    Monday August 3:
    - red Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Hal's.
    - silver Aston-Martin DBS at Aja.
    - black Bentley Arnage on temporary plates at Aja.
    - black Ferrari F430 on Piedmont approaching Peachtree.

...and with that, I'm done for a while - back in Colorado until the end of the month and then taking a bit of a break from spotting. It's been an amazing summer in Buckhead.

YES! I am so glad that someone else has seen the car in person. I love it! I don't like that it has a rear wiper just sitting on the back - I wish they could have positioned it in a more modern way - but I love the whole car.

Did you hear it? To me the car sounded great.

I think they need to do a little more than remove the windshield wiper on the back to make this car look good. I was disappointed because it looks sooooo good from the front but as soon as it drives by and you see the back it's like WTF?!

As for the sound, it never really got up to speed and was never above 25 mph in stop and go traffic so I didn't really get a good idea of how it sounded.

Couldn't agree more. I really like the front, but I've seen many Volvo's with a more aesthetic rear end.

Sorry, that Porsche is 100% ghastly, I cannot stand it. The front end only looks OK because it's the same as a 911. If I wanted a 4 door super saloon, I wouldn't even consider anything other than a BMW M5 or Maserati QP.

A great night for cars on Friday, several standouts with the first being a red Ferrari F430 spider with Alaska tags. The car was being driven by a young guy about the same as as myself (21). He had a older gentleman in the passenger seat assisting him on how to drive her up and down Peachtree. The second car would be a white Lamborghini Murcielago roadster at Terminus. This car had after market wheels and two of the largest rear tail pipes I have ever viewed on a Murci. Third was a red Ferrari 360 Modena on Tennessee tags this car was parked at the hotel 'W'. Around 10 minutes later I observed another red 360 with a rear challenge grill but this car had Georgia tags.

    1.blue Ferrari 355
    2. red Ferrari F430 coupe (Montana tags)
    3. blk. Ferrari F430 coupe
    4. red Ferrari 360 Modena (Tenn. tags)
    5. blk. Ferrari 430 coupe
    6. red Ferrari F430 (Alaska tags)
    7. red Ferrari 360 Modena (Georgia tags)
    8. red Ferrari F430 coupe (Carolina tags)
    9. wht. Lamborghini Murcielago
    10. blk. Ford GT

While I agree that the car isn't very good-looking, believe me - if you drove a Quattroporte (or at least one with the DuoSelect sequential manual transmission), you wouldn't even consider owning that underpowered, dated car with its impossible to use radio. The automatic improves things some.

Grrrr... so jealous! I'm still trying to add states to my "one from every state" goal, and I've only seen two new ones since March! Alaska is a state I, of course, need very much. With that said, I always knew it would be just a matter of time before someone saw an Alaska tag on an exotic car, because Alaska, like Montana, has no sales tax. Thus, registration there is beneficial. Just a few days before I left Atlanta, I saw a red Porsche 996 Turbo on Alaska plates.

-Aston Martin DB9 on a flatbed getting onto 400, sad to see...I hope everything was alright

I have no idea what this is, but it's not a Silver Seraph. It's definitely an attempt at a Silver Seraph - a replica based on something else - but I can't tell what. Interesting sighting.

That'd be a very bad attempt at a replica Phantom actually.

Based on what chassis, I have no idea. It is just ALL wrong though. What a disgrace.

The sad part is that it appears it's based on the 1980-1998 Silver Spirit (presumably an earlier one). An even worse disgrace considering they did that to an already existing Rolls-Royce!

That appears to be the case. However, that generation Rolls isn't exactly flattering the Rolls Royce legend. A lot of them are well-used and nothing special (I saw one on 400 about 10 years ago pulling a utility trailer), so if someone's going to do a gaudy custom, this is the Rolls to do it to. In stock form they're invisible, and they can be had relatively cheap (aside from running expenses). I remember looking at a brand-new Spirit at the dealer in Roswell (when it was behind the Infiniti dealership) and the quality of the paint/bodywork was rather sloppy; we're talking sub-Toyota level of fit and finish.

Is a right side tailight out, or is it the effect of the sun on the left side?

It may be a blinker light, I don't know for sure how the taillights work on the Scud though, either way it looks pretty weird.

Agreed - but you must keep in mind that the Rolls in question came out nearly 30 years ago. I've driven them, and even the oldest ones are extremely quiet and quite comfortable, as well as lumbering old machines in true Rolls-Royce style. I agree they aren't the best, but they don't deserve this fate!

On the F430, the outermost lights are brake lights, while the inner lights are turn signals. So that one is signaling.
