Kelly thanks again for organizing. Can we get a listing of the children m/f and their ages so we have an idea of what to buy?

Thanks Kelly, Looks like a good event for a good cause....looking forward to meeting some other Ferrari's. We just got ours about 3 weeks ago. In Lafayette, we have some owners with TR...599...and 399..along with one or two others...I'll let them know. Mark Milam Lafayette, LA.
This event sounds amazing. Would it be acceptable to have the owners of other enthusiast car brands take part in the shopping and delivering with you guys? I would love to take part in the event for the sake of the kids and converse with fellow car lovers, even if I have to park my car around the block with my fellow British and German counterparts. I had the unfortunate blessing to spend a week at Children's Hospital with my daughter last year. The doctors were truly top notch and what I consider a miracle surgery went perfectly well. I feel like I owe the spirit of that building a visit.
Kelly, you know I will be there and will round up as many others as I can. This is really about creating a nice moment for the kids and the parents who are not at home celebrating the holidays like the rest of us. I look forward to seeing you all there.
update on toys can be given: http://www.chnola.org/content/upload/AssetMgmt/PDFs/ToyDonWish.pdf Cathleen will get us a list of kids ages a couple of days before the event. We may have some corporate sponsorship coming too. Kelly
Anyone that would like to donate toys but can't make it on the 19th can drop off toys at any of my store (A-1 Appliance & Electronics) locations. We are collecting toys at all 8 locations (Gretna, Harvey, Harahan, Kenner, Metairie, Chalmette, Covington and Slidell) and as an added bonus we will send you a $25 Gift Card for making a donation. I went to Childrens Hospital last year with Kelly and the group and this is a very good project. I am very happy to help out this year and I look forward to seeing the smiles on the kids' faces again this year. It is definitely worth the time and effort. Kent
Thanks for everything Kent, How many trucks are we going to need to bring all those toys down to the kids? I met with the manager of Toys r us yesterday and they will be ready for us. The Hornet's came on Monday and spent $10,000 for kids toys. WOW Kelly
Hopefully we collect a lot of toys. I will check with my stores later in the week to see how much we have. I'm not sure we can top the Hornets but we do have cool cars for the kids to see. Kent
We'll be coming from Lafayette. 2 of the other Ferrari here won't be able to make it, the 3rd I haven't heard from yet. Mark and Tammy Milam
Just a reminder about this Saturday, see above for details. If you cannot make it and want to donate funds to buy toys, let me know. I will come and pick it up from you. I want to thank Kent Alamia with A-1 Appliance who has been collecting toys for several weeks at his stores and even running ads in the paper for the toy run. I've met with Toys R US and they will have reserve parking for us in the front of the store. I hope to see all of you on Saturday. Kelly
Great to hear you all are still spreading the Holiday Spirit! Claudia and I sure miss the Ferrari events and friendships we had in LA. We are trying to get a Ferrari group up and running here in Jacksonville FL. Take care, and we wish you the best L & C Anderson
Wanted to let everyone know that all cars are welcome to participate. I'd love to have 50 to 100 cars going to children's. What a problem, but I'll take it.
