A strange twist on a long sad story had me in an antique shop today. While i was there i spotted these two framed prints, both say "the Rod Caudle series and "The Patrick Love Collection". The Countach one has a handwritten date 1-31-85, and #6465, the Ferrari one has #6432 1-26-85.

$20.00 each and they were mine. I just thought it was cool !

I cant find much info through Google, on these , or the cars used for the pics.

Thought i would share them though. :)

those are great finds. I had that EXACT lambo poster in my room when I was a teenager. That one and the one with the doors open all the way and looking from the front.

Are these going to hang in your garage?

I had several too. If I remember correctly, they were sold in the back of Road & Track, or something similar.

Looking at it I just have to say have you ever seen how pretty the original Countach was b4 the flares & wings? Just my humble opinion of course.

I didn't know I would have to take a spelling test to post. I did the Rod Caudle Series in the day. Big success, but moved on. Still shooting commercially, didn't realize still interest. Anyone wanting original prints, signed, let me know Check out autoartcaudle on Etsy. Most of what i shoot large format film, 4x5 and 8x10. Really big enlargements possible. Social media, blog not up to speed, kinda ole school. Kinda cool to still see interest. Trying to upload favorite car ever driven. rod

I've still got a nicely framed (remember those slim, black alum frames?) "Body by Lamborghini. High fidelity by Alpine." Countach/Alpine posters somewhere around here.

Yes, I agree, they made it progressively worse over its production life.

Yup. Same one. Still have a couple of the Porsche posters too - the ones that came from Porsche with your last name on the license plate.

I picked up one of those at the Cleveland AutoRama and it was the first time I had seen even a pic of a Lamborghini. I think I was about 8 or 10 years old.

Very cool that Rod posted here, I have 2 or 3 of the series stuffed away in the closet, they graced my walls in college and a few years thereafter. I can't bring bring myself to part with them. I have the 308 for sure, thinking I also have a Boxer.
