LOL! I want it just BECAUSE of those seats! Well, a couple of other reasons too..........., but......
Just bought this on Ebay. Seems to be a cult following for these. A little unusual for me if you check the rest of my cars owned and previously owned, but I thought it was very geeky cool. The guy I bought it from was unsure of exact mileage on the car (as he accurately points out, unless you have receipts from all along the way, you never know for sure) but the odometer is working, currently reads 97,176 miles, and the car has a 200,000 mile badge on the front grill, so it may be getting ready to turn 300,000 miles! The motor has recently been rebuilt and appears to be running quite nicely. No rust on the car and original interior (front seats are in need of some work so there are sheepskins on them now). Will be a good complement to my 88 Countach (and perhaps evidence of a split personality). Anybody have any shots of the M5 wagon? Better yet, and European board members who have one? It's too bad we only get the E Class wagons and the Audi's in America. Then again it's a shame BMW decided to scratch the wagon from the lineup and replace it with the awful GT! I guess they figured the wagon wasn't ugly enough to match the rest of the lineup
Great looking wagon! You surely have a split personality. I think most folks that read this thread probably do.
I thoroughly appreciated this thing today 700 bhp, 6 speed manual...giggity. stupid fast, fun to drive, and practical! that's the automotive hat trick. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And then immediately proceeded to the nearest auto salon for a foreign matter removal treatment and spritzer.

I posted it in the Countach thread too, http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=141997928#post141997928, I'm sure someone there will know and chime in.
wouldn't a mid engined wagon be somewhat useless? and I like that 190 based wagon, what's the back story on it?
I came across it via Tumblr. A Google search of "Mercedes-Benz 190 SLT" found these items among others... http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=17882.5;wap2 http://www.univers-mercedes.com/t1634-mercedes-benz-190-slt Last two pics are a W123, ie the apparent basis for the "190 SLT". you guys knocked one out of the park with this car. ^^^^ that's roughly the grin I had on my face while driving it
I'm hoping they have a similar depreciation curve to the first generation CTS-Vs. That way I'll be able to afford one in 7 years.
the wagon is very rare (the owner stated to date they've only made 144), so I doubt the wagons will depreciate much. unfortunately
