FM transmitter is the best choice for this I think

If you have the ipod connection then that's an OK way to go as well but if not, the best way is a 10 dollar FM transmitter

Quality won't be as good as the ipod input or uploading mp3s to the HDD (which I've FINALLY managed to learn to do after >1y ownership) but if you're using it for podcasts and streaming music I think it's fine (anything really good you want to listen to with any degree of consistency you can/should upload as an MP3)

FM transmitters give really poor quality audio though with basically zero bass. I tried them first but ended up buying one of the Invery bluetooth adapters for the ipod cable. It sounds like a million bucks and you get song meta data, steering wheel audio controls etc.

    Yeah it isn't great

My car didnt have the ipod cable and I can't be bothered to replace it so it works well enough for me for podcasts and stuff.

Any music I think is good enough I just throw on a thumb drive and upload once every couple months
