The CS tray is different than the regular modena, as there are indentations on the cover itself to accommodate the diffusers. You can find additional info here : http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/329181-stradale-rear-diffuser-360-spider.html EM

Regarding the Carbonio fins....are there any plans to do it in a plastic that will match the 360 rear valance? Additionally, I would think that plastic would be more forgiving of curbes...and other FOD.
Have them installed on my spider. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unfortunately, there are no plans to make these from plastic. There's always the option of refinishing our diffusers in black. There is no concern of bumping into curbs. If you do you will have a lot more to worry about in terms of vehicle damage. The benefit of using our rear diffuser is that you can select the placement for the fins prior to installation. We have had some customers pair fins closer together or place them further to the rear of the vehicle for an individual look. You don't have these options with other rear diffuser kits. We like to think that this sets us apart.
We offer the Rear diffuser and the fins only. I could probably get the fins make in fiberglass only. sorry, but this bolted on diffuser sticks out like dog's bollocks. Just an opinion....does not look right / factory....
Does the height of the fins affect the airflow significantly ? I.e. Do deeper fins provide more downforce as I see some of these aftermarket fins are not as tall as the originals.
The fins overall will slightly increase the down force as they control the flow caused by the venture effect of the Diffuser. The more we control the air the more it increases the down force So yes a slightly larger gins will have more of an increasing effect. not by the thickness of the fin but the height of the fin. The CS style Diffusers create a larger surface area resulting in a higher increase in down force. David
I also think that once it gets dirty it is not going to look as good so there is more to clean. It's real easy to reach up under there and wipe it nice in the stock form. Not many cars look like the 360 from the rear. I think some of you are missing the "musculature" of the rear view. It's freaken purposeful the way it is and you can see the wing section on both sides without all this stuff in the way. The only cars I know that have a similar airfoil shape are an F1 "way out of your league car"! I love it clean and stock back there for this reason.
