The two details I like are that the vents are in the doors, so you can put your hand through them when the doors are open, and also the curved glass in the rear windscreen. The glass, in particular, is an oft overlooked detail as it's tucked in around the back.

The key looks HUGE in that person's hand! I hope that is a baby's hand...

That's the new keyless system fob. There is no ignition to insert the key into on the 488.

It's still a big slab to carry around with you.

    Indeed it is.

For instance the new X5 key is humongous.

The turbo engine provides less flywheel effect than the 458’s larger V8. Press the gas hard and it rockets; lift, the boost drains and it dives. That can be good when it comes to saving the brakes, but bad when there are fairly frequent, substantial pulses in traffic. The trick for smooth travel on the road is moderate application of throttle, and staying out of the high-boost zone.

Sounds like he has never driven a high HP car with a responsive engine. That is my experience in both my M3 and Scud and they have 450HP and 510HP. Punch it and let off and of course it will dive. Why would anyone use anything other than "moderate" throttle application in traffic - which by definition means that you can't accelerate for long?

Thanks for pulling that out so I knew not to read the rest of the review : )

Thanks for sharing that album. I have to agree. Even though I've seen it in person, it was brief, and these photos are doing a fantastic job of showcasing the beauty of the car.

I was in, before, but I'm even more in now.

Looks too much like the 458 IMO. I understand it's an evolution from the 458 but it just doesn't "stand out" as different enough.

There was more of a visual change from the 360 to F430.

Well, the 458 is, design wise, a direct descendant of the 308 so perhaps it's appropriate that the next move should have been an evolution just as it was from the 308 to the 328.
