    Joe, I think your mixing up Vairano with Varano de Melegari, the later owned by the Dallara family.

    The pictures of the review were taken at Vairano (PV) whereas Bob tested the LP500 frequently in Varano, getting the keys from Gian-Paolo Dallara.
    In the countach thread some pictures of the LP500 were shown lapping in Varano.

    Thanks for that pointer Raymond, you are right. The difference an "i" can make. It would have been even better if it was Varano instead of Vairano!

    This was a similar lineup at the 40th. I was asked by the factory to park my car (black DD) in the front row. Right next to me was a purple SE30 and a new Murci. The front row Miura from Belgium had a SV emblem but it did not seem to have the SV wide rear quarter panels.
