Was hoping for a bit more agressive styling. However exhaust is a bit more resembling my Challenge car; which is very, very good! But as expecting, the link to the Challenge series and racing is very evident here.
no viper stripes! this are not 2 not 3 those are 5 stripes! those exhaust tips (the position and length of them) will drive some crazy. in the back it looks a bit as the 360CS. i like that. thanks god. no (in body color) painted diffusor. for me an absolute no go at the 812. but maybe just with CF parts like this. CAN´T WAIT ! t-3days
Not vents but rather scoops to blow the underside of the rear "wing" extremities. These were visible in the slide showing CF rear tray and in one of the mule pics and discussed here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145788472/ The center of the wing is blown by the scoop at the trailing edge of the rear window from a gap between it and the CF rear panel. Expect the gap to be aimed upwards in order to "vector" the flow for the upwash effect mentioned in the slides.
LOL, looks like Image Unavailable, Please Login the stripes I did on my sketch, minus the additional pinstripes, # 4 and 5 ;-)
ok.....after a video like that, if they don't call it the 488 GTO then thats just crazy. Too bad you can't make out the name of the rear license plate. The front end looks great when you pause the video at the right moment. CAN'T WAIT!!!
Car looks great here. Image Unavailable, Please Login Is that daylight in the slot gap under the spoiler? Looks like the cavallino is standing proud in the airflow.
One thing I noticed was the badge on the seat belts (around 0:19) isnt that the Same as on the 599 GTO? Don't the challenge cars have SABELT on them? Might be a clue.... Sent from my SM-G930V using FerrariChat.com mobile app
This car is really looking good. On another note the plate seems to show a sort of long word as the cars verbal name. This being noted my last gap guess at the name is the Ferrari Pope Innocentius XIII.
Yes, Challenge cars have Sabelt 4 point belts. I might be alone here, but the more racy this car looks, the better. I loved the initial photoshops that have been floating around.
To me it suggests the reverse - based on a typical current Ferrari promo typeface the number-plate is showing 488 but then with little space for more than 3 letters/numbers
Image Unavailable, Please Login It appears to be a word as part of one of the letters protrudes down on the number plate.
